2012 NDPC Conference
NDPC’s 2012 spring conference will feature award-winning speaker Jeff
Herrington. The 2012 NDPC conference will be Thursday, April 26, and Friday,
April 27, 2012, at the Kelly Inn in Bismarck.
Herrington has presented around the world to Fortune 500 companies, mid-
sized companies and high-tech start-up companies, to name a few. One

The information he presented was crucial to the work we are currently involved

NDPC
Conference Schedule
The NDPC board will meet Thursday, April 26, at 6 p.m. with an NDPC social at 7 p.m. at Minerva’s.
On Friday, April 27, Herrington will present three sessions. The morning will be
a half-day session on writing for the Web. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to
write Web pages, blog posts and status updates that overcome the obstacles of
online reading. The afternoon will include two sessions: “Think Like a Reporter”
and “Anatomy of the News Release 2.0.”
Winners of NDPC’s college communication contest will be recognized during the noon luncheon. The NDPC member awards banquet will be at 6 p.m. at Minerva’s.

NDPC members who are attending the NDPC spring conference for the first time may apply for the NDPC First-timer Grant. The application is available in the members’ area.
