Mandan High School Teacher Kelsey Brown and her students joined forces this spring with the City of Mandan’s community marketing committee to take over the Made in Mandan Instagram account.

A class, made up of sophomores, juniors and seniors, partnered with local small businesses to create original content for Instagram. Students were asked to work with the businesses to create content that would appeal to their peers and be of interest to existing and new customers.

The goal of the collaboration was to give students real-world experience, connect them with Mandan's business community, and offer the businesses a local youth perspective. We’ll hear from Mrs. Brown and a couple of students who participated in the takeover. 

The Prairie Communicators will not provide a meal. You can bring in your own food and drinks.
