Amanda Kosior is North Dakota Professional Communicators’ 2025 Communicator of Achievement. Kosior has over 25 years of experience in media/public relations, community engagement, internal/human resource communications, social media strategy, advertising, branding, and multi-media content creation.

Kosior is a board member and marketing director at JLG Architects, a nine-office, multi-studio firm of more than 220 employee-owners. She leads the firm's award-winning graphic designers, environmental branders, writers, social media planners, photographers/videographers, and studio marketing coordinators. Her work is dedicated to strengthening internal and external communications that enhance firm culture, client relations, and community integration.

Beyond JLG, Kosior founded the popular NorthDakotaNice.com website and blog, which has catalyzed weekly network appearances on the ND Today show. When she's not blogging or spending time with her two sons, she mentors marketing/communication students at the University of North Dakota. Kosior graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communications and a minor in English from Boston University.

Kosior has been a member of NDPC and NFPW since 2020, awarded over 50 awards in North Dakota, as well as 14 national-level recognitions through NFPW. In 2023, she took second place in NDPC’s sweepstakes competition, and in 2024, she was awarded first place.

Communicator of Achievement is the highest honor NDPC can bestow upon one of its members. It is presented annually to a member of NDPC and NFPW who has distinguished themselves within and beyond their profession. Kosior will be NDPC’s nominee for the communicator of achievement award at the National Federation of Press Women conference September 11-13 in Golden, Colo.
