Danielle Teigen has been selected as the 2020 Communicator of Achievement (COA) by the North Dakota Professional Communicators (NDPC). The COA is the highest honor NDPC can bestow upon one of its members. It is presented annually to a member of NDPC and the National Federation of Press Women (NFPW) who has distinguished him or herself within and beyond his or her profession.
Teigen advances to the national NFPW competition, where COA judging is based on professional achievement, community service and service to NFPW and NDPC. She will be recognized at a virtual awards banquet on June 6.
Teigen served as deputy editor of the Forum since 2015 and is the author of two non-fiction local history books, including “Hidden History of Fargo” and “The Fargo Fire of 1893.” She is currently in the process of transitioning to a part-time role with Forum Communications where she will manage the organization’s bi-monthly magazine focused on parenting and motherhood.
