NDPC 2007 Communications Contest Winners

Winners in the North Dakota Professional Communicators communications contest were announced during NDPC’s conference April 13 and 14 at the Radisson Hotel, Bismarck, N.D.

Twenty-three members earned 134 awards for their best work in print media, photography, advertising, writing for and development of the Web, promotion, public relations, marketing, speeches and books.

Fifty-two first-place awards were forwarded to the National Federation of Press Women (NFPW) contest. Winners in that competition will be announced at the NFPW Annual Communications Conference, scheduled for Sept. 20–22 in Richmond, Va.

Martin Fredricks, West Fargo, N.D., was named this year’s sweepstakes winner. He is owner of Fredricks Communications, a company that helps businesses and organizations effectively, brand, advertise and market themselves. Sweepstakes winners are determined using a point system based upon the number of entries in each category and the place awarded.
