College Communications Contest
The annual college communications contest gives college communications students an opportunity to gain recognition for their writing, advertising or public relations. It is NDPC’s way of encouraging promising student communicators.
Any student enrolled in at least a two-year college or university in North Dakota, or at Minnesota State University Moorhead or Concordia College, Moorhead, Minn., is eligible to enter the contest.
All entries must have been published or produced between March 2, 2016, and Feb. 1, 2017. Eligible material is not limited to work produced for college or university organizations.
An individual may submit only one entry in each category. No entry may be submitted in more than one category. Please read contest classifications carefully. Entries not in the correct category or properly labeled will be disqualified.
Read the requirements for each category carefully. Some require supporting material. If submitting electronically, please ensure file names reflect entry and entrant; please include a receipt of online payment. If submitting hard copies, securely fasten a completed entry form and any necessary supporting documents to each entry. Mail all entries in one large envelope.
Video entries must include one entry form for each submission, with online link. Please ensure you copy the link correctly after uploading your entry.
Contest Entry Fee
There is a $7 entry fee for each individual (not school) to enter the contest, plus $3 for each entry. For example, one entry will cost $7, two entries $10 and three entries $13. Contestants who collaborate on material may enter together for a single entry fee.
You can pay online at https://squareup.com/store/north-dakota-professional-communicators/ or with a check made payable to NDPC (do not send cash).
