College Communications Contest
The NDPC College Communications Contest returns in 2021. The annual college communications contest gives college communications students for their work in the areas of communications, journalism, photography, marketing and related fields. It is NDPC’s way of encouraging promising student communicators.
Any student enrolled in at least a two-year college or university in North Dakota, or at Minnesota State University Moorhead or Concordia College, Moorhead, Minn., is eligible to enter the contest.
Entry Requirements and Categories
Read the requirements for each category carefully. Some require supporting material. If submitting electronically (preferred), please ensure file names reflect entry and entrant. If submitting hard copies, securely fasten a completed entry form and any necessary supporting documents to each entry. Mail all entries in one large envelope.
Video entries must include one entry form for each submission, with online link. Please ensure you copy the link correctly after uploading your entry.
Entry Deadline and Submission
Contest winners will be recognized in the spring of 2021. Winners will be notified by email. First, second and third place awards, and up to two honorable mentions, may be presented in each category. Judges are directed to make awards only if merited. All decisions of the judges are final.
Students can win money through the sweepstakes prize. Points will be assigned for entries that place, and the two students who earn the most points will receive prizes in the amount of $100 and $50, respectively.
If you have questions about the contest, you may contact College Contest Chair Brian Hough at firstname.lastname@example.org.
